FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT DOES REMOVE MEAN?

When you contact us to have your bed removed we will asked you a few simple questions to determine if your bed can be revived and reused.  Is so, we will agree a date and time for your bed to be collected.

WHY DO I NEED TO TAKE A PHOTO OF THE BED BEING REMOVED?

When planning the collection runs our collection partners need to know the size of each bed, frame or mattress being removed.  The easiest way for us to determine this is for you to send us a few photos of each item using your mobile phone.

IS THERE A FEE FOR REMOVAL?

No fee is charged if the bed, frame or mattress is located on the ground floor.  Where the bed is not located on the ground floor a small fee will be charged.

WHY CAN’T YOU TELL ME AN EXACT TIME MY BED WILL BE COLLECTED?

With Auckland's increasing traffic problems it is very difficult for us to predict when the removal truck will arrive.  The best we can provide is a collection in the AM or PM.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M NOT AT HOME WHEN THE REMOVAL TRUCK ARRIVES?

If you still want the bed removed a fee will be charged for the removal truck to return at a later date and time.

WHAT HAPPENS IF A WALL IS DAMAGED OR MARKED WHEN THE BED IS BEING REMOVED FROM MY HOUSE?

A bed is a large bulky heavy item.  While our collection partners take a lot of care when a bed is being removed, they do not take any responsibility for any damage that may occur.

MY BED IS BEING REMOVED SHOULD I MOVE IT SOMEWHERE?

We would prefer the bed is disassembled and moved into a garage or front room.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY BED ONCE IT'S BEEN REMOVED.

Beds and mattresses removed will be revived and reused.

I LIVE OUT OF AUCKLAND WILL YOU REMOVE MY BED?

A charge will be payable for any removal outside of the greater Auckland area.
